The Argument of When Life Starts

The question of when life begins ranges from conception to as late as two years of age, depending on who you ask. The atheist gives us the widest range on this subject. They believe that life begins in the range of the second or third trimesters or even as late as the age of a toddler. It would be hard to imagine in today’s time that someone would think of ending the life of a two year old. However, there is a group of people on the very far left that believe that a child under the age of two is not a fully developed human being. This is the same group of people that are pushing for euthanasia of our elderly. They believe that it is for the betterment of society to control population. Hitler also held this belief, although he took it step further with trying to create one Arian race by killing millions of Jews. The atheist very on this subject and base their belief on an wide range of societal issues. One could conclude, that to the atheist, the issues that are of higher importance take precedence above life itself. This would reflect the utopian point of view.

As a Christian we believe that life begins at conception and can not waiver on this point. This belief is based in the scriptures also known to Christians as the Word of God. It is best stated in the book of John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. To the Christian the word is the voice of God. The bible is a living and breathing miracle. So how does this relate to the argument of when life starts? Lets take a look at the very scriptures that take this issue to hart. Psalm 139:13-14: For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. Christian believe that God knew us before we were born. Jeremiah 1:5: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. This applies to each and everyone of us. God knows us. Matthew 10:30: But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. God knows us better than we know ourselves. In Genesis 17:19: And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. If you believe in the Word of God it is clear that life begins with conception. Maybe even before conception. Life is precious to God. Your life is precious to God and so is the unborn life to God. The Word of God is so powerful that it created man. Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

If you seek forgiveness for having an abortion read: Daniel 9:9: To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him. or Acts 5:31: Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. Sin is sin. We all sin, but reconize it for what its and correct it. God is with you. You only need to turn and face him.

God Bless
